  • The uttleysnaturephotos.com  website is being constructed as time allows, there are another 40 some Titles still to be installed, and hundreds more photographs to insert.  All uttleysnaturephotos.com  Photographs were shot in Canada and the U.S.A. by Dennis Uttley. All pictures herein are copyrighted. The pictures are printed on the Epson Stylus Pro 7900 Printer using Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper 260 and Epson's Ultra Chrome HDR pigment type ink. This ink and paper is expected to last 100 years behind glass, out of direct sunlight, and properly framed to protect it from moisture and cleaning vapors or other chemicals that linger in the air. Only the Time Traveler knows for sure. The Photographs look good at 8 X10 and 16 x 20 inches, but they really squirt out the color and fine detail when printed 24 x 48 or 56 inches.

The uttleysnaturephotos.com Portfolios include photographic treasures of Rare or seldom found Wildflowers, such as Green Mutations of the Great White Trillium, Trillium grandiflorum, and the little One-Flowered Pyrola, Moneses uniflora, that looks like a six footed duck walking across the forest floor. Also in the treasure chest are photos of Trophy Bighorn Sheep Rams that were photographed in the Canadian Rocky Mountains more than forty years ago. It would be a rare delight to see one of these nearly 500 pound Rams to-day. Transparency film used back then was Ektachrome 160 Professional or 200 Daylight Professional Film using a Mamiya 60 X 70 mm SLR with a 127 MM lens.

After 2010, all photographs were made using a Cannon EOS 5d Mark 2. in Raw, then converted to Adobe RGP Jpegs.

The "Decorator Choices" Titles are intended as a "Short List" of Photos to enable Decorators to more quickly sort through and choose the more favored Decorative Photographs  for use as Home and office Wall Décor.

Photographically illustrated Stories include The Maple Sugar Bush, the making of Maple Syrup in the woods, The Joe The Dog story, Dangerous Winds story, the Lucky Doe Story, the Bighorn Sheep Story and an Oil Well Service Rig with Crew completing an Oil Well Work-over.

Further included are Photographically illustrated Stories of Wildflowers and Wildlife for Amateur Naturalists and Wildflower Hunters, and Decorative Fantasy Photographs and Stories for Children, Adults and Hunters.

For the Hunters and Firearms enthusiasts, the Firearms Page includes photos of the 1873 Springfield Trapdoor rifle, a rare 13 mm (.51 cal.) MBA Gyrojet Pistol from the 1960's (Shoots Rockets instead of Bullets), several modern-day very special rifles for long range precision shooting, plus Cowboy pistols and rifles from the 1800's, 1911 pistols, and some Chinese and Russian pistols and rifles, etc. A special thanks to the Owners of the firearms.

The uttleysnaturephotos.com  Website is designed so you may view and enjoy uttleystrails.com Portfolios anytime, and as often and as long as you wish. Bring the Kids, Mom, Grandmother, and of course, your Hunting Buddies.
