    The River's Eye, # 102-8227-w. The River's Eye is often seen from the observation deck at Rearguard Falls, a point on the Fraser River between Jasper Alberta and Valemount British Columbia. When the river's flow is just right, the Eye looks as you see it here, and it does look right at you. Rearguard Falls is located a ten minute walk from hyw 16. This is a good place to visit on the way through. In August Chinook Salmon can sometimes be seen climbing the falls during the spawning run.
